The last time we spotted Antara and Shahana, they looked sooo different; their new do makes for quite the drastic change! The hair-raising question though is, you approve? ;)

  1. I think both look great! Antara has a pliable face and almost any hairstyle seems to suit her. Regarding Shahana, it takes courage to chop off long hair in favour of a short hairstyle. Kudos to both ladies!

Shahana looks nice…but Antara’s hair is a disaster..whoever cut her hair like that…!!!

  3. I havent seen Shahana previous hair(open hair) and I dont like this one.
but for antara anything would be better than that curly hair disaster…. and I approve it.. its not bad and her face still looks feminine..

  5. Not liking Shahana’s cut, but Antara looks fab. And what’s with the ‘unfeminine’ complaint? I was hoping that we were finally at a stage where people are regarded as people/individuals and are free to do as they please without being expected to conform to silly arbitrary expectations. Looks like women’s lib still has a long way to go.

  6. Antara is SUPER CHIC! I really admire women that have the courage to chop off all of their hair, I think most girls tend to treat it more like some strange pet rather than a bodily extension of our style. Antata’s cut gives her a very clean pretty look. I’ve had chin-shoulder length hair for the past three years now, and I’m growing it out (and resisting my now ingrained instinct to get it cut :D)

  7. I totally agree with pdaervo and prem rogue. Also, KUDOS to all women with short hair, I am sick and tired of conformists. Heck, I am inspired enough to cut off my silly locks.

  8. I like Shahana with long hair. .. this is just OK.

On an aside, If I chop off my long hair, will Milind Soman date me too?? She is one lucky girl!!

  9. They are both stunning! I recall, back in high(which was only a year ago) there was an desi girl who cut her hair very short, and caught so much heck from EVERYONE! The other desi girls who didn’t approve, the girl who were jealous of her long hair, the guys who thought she looked “butch” without it. But the fact was, and is, most women tend to get so wrapped up in their hair that they lack any sort of identity. You can hide behind it, use it to your advantage, put people down with it…all sorts of things. A woman can truly shine with a cut like this- not to mention, it looks FIIIERCE!
