Ananya attended the Sabyasachi 20th anniversary celebrations wearing a black backless blouse and beaded skirt, both by the designer. With a more fun hairdo and footwear, this look could’ve stood out but, as is, fell flat.

I am sorry but Ananya and Jahnvi turned out a lot better than Tara or Alia.. They both look good.
This look is so 2007-2008. Plus that toe overhang is faux pax that is hard to overlook.

I actually think the simple hair and footwear works in her favor here. She looks pretty! So much better turned out than Jahnvi and Tara for this event
There’s some class in not exposing.. she’s looking so fine, this is possibly my first in seeing her covered. Don’t mean it in a prudish way but just seems like a huge difference, with one small change. It really takes your eyes onto the person.
LOOOVE the skirt. Totally agree about the footwear – some edgy ankle boots would have made such a difference. But does look nice overall :)

No matter what she wears, she always comes across as a little girl playing dress-up, who’s not quite comfortable with what she’s wearing.
waaaaay too much makeup…as of now this is giving me the vibe of a plastic doll. when will Bollywood learn how to combine the glam look with natural beauty like they do so effortlessly in the west? Somehow a short dress/skirt always warrants cakey, overdone makeup according to btown stylists so much so that any remnant of what the person originally looks like is lost in all the pancake.
Love the skirt and she looks nice. But yes a better updo could have made this more fun, young and vibrant

I actually like this look…hairstyle suits her, not much skin show unlike all her previous outings. That skirt is lust worthy and like the pairing with the black top. Can’t believe I’m saying this but she looks great here.
