Sari Style
Anaita attended the Jade 10th Anniversary celebrations wearing a black sari with a Sophia Webster box clutch. Going by the puckering, it seemed like the orange border was stitched on to the sari but overall, I still loved seeing her in this one.

I’m taking no points away for the puckering cos the orange border was a great call!
She looks lovely…so simple yet chic….love that she didn’t go for a red lip or heavily accessorise like most btown ladies would
I don’t think, orange border was attached…it’s the saree fall stitches…is what you see there.
I think PnP meant the puckering on the orange border on the pallu. You do not have saree fall there. It might be a thread that has been caught…hence the puckering.
That could be the pallu got folded. She wears the sari in a sloppy and messy way.
The puckering you see there are saree fall stitches.
Saree fall or the attached border, my tailor Shanta does a perfect job. Respect to her for never compromising on the quality of work she does. Shame that the best tailors these bollywood designers and stylists have, still mess up this simple job.
For a stylist, she’s pretty dowdily dressed most times. Dislike any of the finishing touches on this one.
It is mind-boggling that Vogue, whose other international editors include aesthetes such as Ms Wintour, would pick the likes of Ms Shroff and Ms. Tanna, two women with no style or aesthetics of their own, to drive the magazine in India. TThe puckering at the border, the wrinkles, this is a new low but I am sure there will be more.
It’s a beautiful saree and she is looking nice and simple. Don’t know about the puckering non puckering business!
