Amrita picked a similar dress from the same designer (Hema Kaul) that Neha Dhupia sported at the very event. Quite the coincidence! Pin-up inspired hair, oxblood lip and silver pumps finished out Ms. Rao’s look at the Awards.
While Neha had success with hers, I can’t say the same for Amrita. The color didn’t quite photograph well and the length seems a bit much on the petite actor. A couple of inches would’ve made a welcome difference! Props for trying something different but the look isn’t quite a ten.

Terrible makeup and very good example of how styling make difference.Something that look good on one can actually look not so good on another person..
She always seems to have make-up and fit issues that knocks off 3 out 10 points. Her consistent lack of oomph takes away another 2, which means that even with a stellar outfit the best she usually does is a 5.

Oily make up. Plus she never ‘owns’ any dress that she wears. I have this feeling that even if she were to wear the sexiest Dolce and Gabbana dress, she would still look like the prude that she come across as in her interviews. A 12 year old mentally in the body of a waif.
