In Nikasha Tawadey

Model and Zee TV’s ‘After-Hours’ host Amrit Maghera was spotted at the ‘Rinaldi and Shimmer’ Store launch in a Nikasha Tawadey dhoti-style pants from the designer’s Spring 2009 collection. We loved the pairing of the pants with the sequin jacket but the studded fringed bag, although on trend, was a bit too much for this outfit.

You like?

P.S. We suspect the jacket is also a Nikasha but yet have to confirm.

  1. she looks really cute! love her make up and hair! that jacket is really yummy! not a fan of fringes either.. but somehow she’s making it work!

  2. dont like the sandals either – i think a little less black would have made the pants stand out more…all in all, i find the look on the ramp better.

  3. Oops got published before I completed the comment…

Her entire outfit is lost i ahaze of black. Maybe some contrast would have worked beteer

  4. Yes the Bomber jacket she is wearing is from Nikasha’s last seasons collection. I personally, dont like Nikasha stuff too much. They seem too inspired by sabyasachi but with bad finish. Thoug Nikasha is the aboslute best when it comes to dhoti pants. Amrit Magehra should have added some contrasts, It looks like a sea of black and sequins.

  5. Amrit is totally rocking this look!! Love it to the max.
Though I do agree that the bag is too much & I’m not sure about the shoes either. But overall I think she got it right ^_

  6. I love the dhoti pants …also the jackets ….love it….and amrit is carrying it off very well…. except for the fringed handbag of course.

  7. This what I call an outfit that looks good only on ramp or on Sarah Jessica Parker considering she is used to wearing horrible and odd clothes….

  8. Wow!! She sure is working the dhoti pants so well…..they look fab on her!! And the bomber jacket too… all, fab look. But she should’ve carried a bag in another color just for the sake of adding some contrast….
