While at a press meet to celebrate the success of her recent movie, Alia was photographed in a custom Swapnil Shinde dress. With her hair partially pinned back, she finished out the look with bright lip color, delicate midi-rings and multi-color pumps. Ms. Bhatt looked nice.

The fit, length, pattern and just about everything on the dress is NOT for a young girl like Alia. I mean seriously, she is all of 23 and from the gazillion designers that our Industry has, she chose this milk-white matronly dress? Like seriously?
People who are calling it DP’s powder blue dress equivalents, well *slow claps* for you! DP looked divine in that dress with just the perfect vintage touch to the look. Alia clearly chose a dress that is aging her right off the bat. She is ZERO on accessories.
Must add the oversized pumps. What an eyesore! They bring “no colour” to the all white look, so to speak.
Never thought I’d say this about Alia… but this look is a 10.

I think this may look matronly on Alia since she is not a tall girl. But I do think she looks lovely here. Not a huge fan of the shoe colours though. Also, I’ve noticed that she wears pumps a size or two larger? How does she manage to walk in them?
