Alia first performed at the Filmfare Awards and then later walked the red carpet wearing a Prabal Gurung with jewellery from Anmol. The gown with its voluminous skirt had the potential to look overwhelming but by wearing it with the textured ponytail, Alia came out looking elegant yet youthful.

The gown still looks overwhelming on her. But waist-up she looks so pretty.
It seems like waist down she is drowning in the dress, which is a shame becos waist up she looks lovely and elegant.

Agree with Tina, the gown is still overwhelming yet the overall look is a little underwhelming. I think maybe because the pale pink voluminous skirted gown look has 0 novelty on the red carpet at this point. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior at the 2013 Oscars, Mahira Khan in Shahira Lasheen at 2016 LSAs and even Alia I think has given us a similar look in the past. Not that she doesn’t look pretty!
As sweet as alia looks, the gown deserved better hair and makeup.
As much as the colour suits her, I don’t like the gown on her. Makeup & even hair are mighty unimpressive. She somehow looks twice her age in the last pic (in that side profile) & looks as if trying to cover her “wrinkles & old age” via make-up… and this is bad considering she is so young & lovely!
She could have gone for a total barbie-doll look with this gown
The bottom half of thr gown is overwhelming but Alia looks lovely.
She looks pretty and elegant. But gotta agree that the gown looks overwhelming on her. She usually does simple/youthful with much elan, this look in that scale scores much less.
Nothing to mention here.She is drowning in the gown.It seems she wanted to be on red carpet so just wore a dress and tied a pony.

The look seems like a close copy of what Jennifer Lawrence wore for 2013 Oscars.
Miss Bhatt does look elegant & youthful at the same time. I do think, however, that a little something was required here to make the look pop! A brighter lip, maybe? Or a more visible pair of earrings?
