At the Ambani’s reception for newly weds Harbhajan and Geeta and Rohit and Ritika, Alia was seen in a black Manish Malhotra embroidered maxi. Hair in a ponytail, she finished out this look with smoky eyes and skipped on jewellery.
Given how everyone else was wearing as much gota and sequins as possible, this look on Alia was quite a 180. And while I wasn’t a fan of the collar detail, she still looked nice.

The pattern is same. It’s pretty amusing how differently both these youngsters style their looks with almost the same kind of attire. I obviously like Shraddha’s styling here. Alia’s take on styling is too drab & uninteresting. Seriously there is nothing here to write about.. Very plain look. The black shiny skirt part of the maxi looks very flimsy.

Well said. Every time you see Alia’s post you can expect this silly long listed comment. It is much like P&P’s love for Sonam, Bluebells hate for Alia. Actually, strike that even P&P criticizes Sonam’s look at times.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Calling somebody else’s comment ‘silly’ doesn’t elevate you, my friend. It’s funny how people ‘pretty quickly’ pick on others’ comments when they themselves hold biases.
Moreover, ‘S’, you could have simply ignored my comment if you really found it ‘silly’ everytime. You stop and read, and care to give your silly opinion for my silly comments, how silly are you?

It is not exactly the same if u look at the detailing like collar and design. It is just the silhouette.
I loved the dress both in red and black
She looks good and statuesque. But I do wish she had worn some solitaires or a nice thin diamond bracelet to offset all that black.
