At a special screening of Raazi on Saturday, Alia kept it simple in a white churidaar suit from AM:PM paired with white kolhapuri chappals. She looked sweet.
she looks lovely as always but her styling during this promo tour has been SUCH a snooze fest, fingers crossed she’ll be back to dressing her age again when she starts promoting a less ‘serious’ movie!
sure Alia is baby faced, but I disagree with your view that dressing modestly/in ethnic clothes is not age-appropriate for young women in their 20s! in the same way that we would not call out the malaika’s of this world for dressing sexily into their 40s, the clothes you wear should not be dictated by your age, but rather your personal taste/what you feel most comfortable in! if alia likes dressing this way, and it suits the tone of the film she’s promoting, then why the hell not!
She looks lovely. I love this designer personally. I have a few pieces which I’ve grabbed at fantastic a sale and wear it year after year and always receive compliments.
Love it!
