In Henry Holland For Koovs

Comment image 17

At the promotional event for ‘2 States’, Alia gave us the first sighting of a look from the Henry Holland for Koovs which isn’t available till May.

The look was finished out with subtle colorful sandals that worked perfectly with the colorful dress.

P.S. Any of the looks catch your fancy? The palm print separates are already on my must-get list. :P

  1. While the clothes look great on models with the special effects, not so in real life.
The sleeves are too big, and the print looks like something you would see on cheap dishes in Target.

  2. The loose-ness of it is ok in my opinion. Given the prints and the cut, this piece would have looked much better had it been a shirt.

Very clownish feel to the prints- reminds of that ghost from the King flick!

  3. Frumpy is the first word that comes to mind. Did Alia steal this dress from Vidya Balan’s closet? It reminds me of something that Vidya’s stylist would put Vidya in. Overall, not a fan of this dress at all. So much untapped potential wasted.

    • Hahaha! Probably one of the few times I gotta disagree with you. :P I do agree about the part -Vidya Balan’s closet. But the huge differences i think are 1) Alia has a body type/young to carry such multiple colors and kind of loose sleeves 2) Hair is is in place and not messy unkempt like VB’s 3) VB would have worn shoes which would like be something you get in the Chinese flea markets. I rest my case. ;)

  5. nice & breezy designs easy to slot as a fun piece here and there but depends on what fabric they are in – can’t say yay or nay until one knows that :)
