Sajid Nadiadwala’s bash saw a dashing Askhay and a beautiful Twinkle both wearing ethnic. Normally, we’ve only seen one or the other do that. Twinkle wore what seems like a lehenga with her dupatta draped in a sari style and Akshay wore a classic chikan suit.
At this do, we must say, Akshay shone better than Twinkle who could have used a few bangles. What say you?

i’m contradicting myself here, since I don’t wear jewelry at all when I’m out, but I do agree that Twinkle could have used some sparkle to brighten her up. Akshay looks great though.

Maybe I like simplicity…but this is the first time that I actually think AK is kind of hot-lookin. I think they both look great in a different sort of way than usual. I really love what he’s wearing — something so sexy about it.

Now, I love Twinkle as much as the next person, but I have to ask: does she even own a hairbrush? The tousled, bedhead look is great for the beach and casual wear, but not when it’s paired with formal attire. I’m not entirely sure why she would pick a lehnga and drape it like a sari; the main difference between a lehnga and a sari is the intricate work on the skirt, which should be showcased.
It’s a pity that her Indian outfits are always so dull, considering she can rock a dress like no other.
I must say, however, that her hubby looks amazing!

akshay looks good but im not liking the way he tied the dupatta… like a winter scarf or something..
i love how akshay wore his stole in a casual way over his amzing formal kurta…..HOTNESS!!!! only he can pull it off……and it must have been a heck long dupatta for twinkle to drape it like this ;)
I completely agree with zara n her comment abt twinkle. Srsly, go invest in a hair brush!

It’s quite obvious from the second pic that the slits on her ‘lehenga’ run thigh-high. Maybe she thought it was too risque (on the way or something) and decided to cover herself with the chunni?
I can think of no other explanation for why anyone would choose to cover up a lehenga that way. I mean, she’s probably got hundreds of sarees. If she wants to look like she’s wearing a saree, she can very well go ahead and wear a saree.

ps – is that a slit i see? was she trying to cover it up cus she hadnt shaved her legs?

haha…she definitely looks drunk! I must say this is one of the few times that I don’t like how she’s looking. I count this as a WTHEY moment for her…

Thank you Thank you for posting pics of ppl whom the majority can recognise!And I always love seeing Twinkle – has her own sense of style, knows what looks good on her, and is rarely OTT – unlike ppl who pull together a mismatched look and think only of what brands they can display, vulgar I say! Akshay dear is looking hot n sexy, but why the golden shoes – wanted to matcy with his wife? and why has wifey draped a dupatta arnd herself? anyways, Twinkle’s off-moments are more like the other ppl’s hi points I say!
Love them two together — Akshay looks so good!!! Twinkle’s outfit is pretty too.. I agree with the bangles and brushing her hair a little.

Akshay looks fantastic. Twinkle, restrained, but better this way than vulgar and blinged out. Actually I like the slit and the cover-up, adds a little interest to the dress, and makes you look closely at something that could have been very boring.
The moment i saw Twinkle, i was wondering what the hell was she wearnig.. thanks for the explanation.. that it was a Lehenga indeed. She looks pretty, but could have been a bit more bright.. i looks pale to me.
on the other side.. Akshay.. is HOTNESS personified !! I am loving the way he tied that stole up and gave it a whole new look. Awesome !!

Thank you for telling me it was was Lehanga…I couldnt fot the life of me figure out what that slit was….and why the saree was draped to off a lil leg…I love this couple, but Twinkle does look a lil drunk in this picture
