Wearing a pink Terrence Lobo dress, Akshara attended a recent Awards night. An updo, earrings from Aquamarine, a Radhika Mehra clutch and new peep-toe pumps finished out the actor’s look. This appearance felt rather uninspired; Akshara could do better! A softer do, more muted make-up and metallic ankle-strap sandals would’ve helped elevate the look.

Why does only her face look white? Her natural brown complexion and blue eyes would have made for such a beautiful contrast. Alas! Like everybody else in Bollywood joined the bandwagon.
She is no way the brown skinned (and there is nothing wrong with being that tone, but then then the fairness creams sales here says otherwise). She is white-pinkish to see in person. Usual dark skinned & the usual Indian skin tone can be easily spotted through the dark brown knees, it will always give away how much ever white washing you do to the face. Some people powder the knees and we can easily spot the ashyness :P
She looks lovely. I like everything except the hairdo, this up do doesn’t suit her face.
