In Andrew Gn

Aishwarya visited the sets of Comedy Nights for promotions of Jazbaa wearing a green Andrew Gn maxi. Ms. Rai is a person who serves high highs and very low lows and I think we can all agree this belonged to the former category. The color was just gorgeous on her.

Even if you don’t like the maxi, we should be glad there was no navy nor boots in sight here.

  1. Her makeup and that shade of green is gorgeous but that is such a hideous gown. Looks like some B grade Indian designer creation, specially the horrendous sleeves.
Ash salvages the look only because of how stunning she looks neck up.

  3. All the ladies who have commented here please be informed that fringe is the new trend and the biggest trend, (fringe bags, fringe boots, fringe skirts, fringe dresses) not sure where you all live :P
geez guys you all commenting like you all know the trends and the experts of fashion.

To me she looks so gorgeous and she carried the maxi with a grace .

  5. So this is what it comes down to? Being thankful for a pretty color? Well, this gown also looks like a nightdress. The fringes and cut out sleeve are awful. The hair shows no effort at all. She looks pregnant in one of the photos. And all this is ok because at least the color is pretty on her?
And fringe may be the trend but that doesn’t mean that you do a fringe overload, does it? There are much more subtle ways to do it and this one is just not it.

    • Totally agree.
This a shapeless, ugly, green goblin outfit. And just because something is apparently trendy it doesn’t mean it looks good on everyone. Aishwariya has zero sense of style or ability to carry off fashionable outfits.

    • Really.. I read this quote by Einstein somewhere today – “Relativity applies only to physics, not morals” . It also doesn’t apply to fashion imo !
Just because someone’s got a really bad dress sense, doesn’t give them a free pass for the relatively better but still bad ones :P

  6. Beautiful dress! I saw this on video and it is so beautiful. I’m in love with the color and glad she has sleek straight hair to complete the look. Good call on that one. Too bad there aren’t many pics of her in this dress as of now. I would have loved it if she actually wore this at a major public event like an award show or something.

  7. That’s a poorly designed maxi with an extremely unflattering silhouette. As someone mentioned before, it’s sad to see how the fashion standards for her have dropped to only colour and absence of something outrageous. It’s passable but definitely not a high.

  8. This outfit reminds me of the green flowy gown Angelina wore when she was pregnant and walked the red carpet.

The fringe reminds me of Pochahontas costume.

  9. I do think she doesn’t make an effort because of her beauty. Is she so used to saying that she looks beautiful in anything that she is over-confident and just goes with whatever her stylist puts her in. I guess people close to her would still say that she looks pretty no matter what she wears (which might be the case), so she puts in no effort wrt fashion? Just my 2 cents because Madhuri seems to be having the same issues as her.
Also they are from a time when fashion wasn’t really that big in Bollywood. Karishma Kapoor seems to be the only one from their generation who is an exception in my view.

  10. high-high? seriously? Well, going by her previous appearances for Jazbaa promotions this one sure isn’t cringe worthy, but definitely not a HIGH. While she gets points for the color of the gown and getting the make up right…those fringes on the arm are just tacky and the hairstyle so boring.
