Will there ever be a day when we see Aishwarya in something light, contemporary and minimalist outside of Cannes? Don’t get us wrong, we love us some Rohit Bal. But this outfit was more of the same ol’ same ol’ on Ms. Bachchan. And so excessive for the event in question too! Not a fan.

Its good to see her move on from ajsk for a bit. Bal is great, this one is just not his best. ARB needs to lose that red hair colour asap, as it does clash with her fave red lip.

I actually like the colors and print of this dress on her. But print is so blending with the background, first I thought its long asymetric kurti with leggings or palazzo bottoms with that red flowers print.. It took some time for my old eyes to gather its a dress/gown. I still kind of like it.
Can’t get what that outfit is.. oh Yeah her love for deep shades of reds and browns and heavy fabrics..! Really yearn to see her do lighter clothes with low make up look… who powders face so much wen u do red lip?
She does not have the best fashion taste. She’s accepted it and we should all accept it as well. But the face is gorgeous!

She is always overdressed. I wonder if it’s the mindset from her pageant days, and then marrying into the Bachchan clan that has her always covered in yards of brocade all the time!
Some light wispy material, flowing fabric, simple dresses, lighter makeup will make her look gorgeous!

she is always overdressed but it has little to do with the Bachchan clan. You do not see shweta or Jaya wear the over the top clothes. Maybe she gets fashion tips from Amitabh.

It’s too busy especially the florals at the bottom draw our eyes downwards instead of her beautiful face.

The hair colour the lip colour the palettes of red in that outfit… why does she do this to herself. She makes me cringe normally but now I am just feeling sad for her.
Get a good stylist Ash, you will do a whole lot of good for you as a brand.
I would love to see her in a pastel shade sheath dress and simple pearl earrings and nude pumps and hair up in a pony and nothing else..!
Dear writer, you wouldn’t have flinched a second if it were Cher, Lady Gaga or Rekha… They are divas and always dress like one, irrespective of the event. And if Aishwarya wants to be one in her own right, would love it all…
