In Manish Malhotra

Still enamored by her recent editorial, we were hoping for something fresh and new, but Ms. Bachchan stuck to the tried and tested instead. No prizes for guessing, it was a Manish Malhotra outfit that she wore to the Robot screening in Mumbai. Meh!

  1. I like that she did not show up in ‘character’ like alot of the other actresses have been doing. I’ve seen some pics of her looks for the robot movie and they make her look like a completely different person. and I’m positive those looks are great for on camera, not in real life. She isn’t hitting any fashion home runs at this appearance but I can appreciate her just being herself!

  2. Though tried and tested, she looks oh so lovely. Poor lady, after all those promo events and screenings for 3 different regions(endhiran, robo telugu & robo hindi) she looks super washed out(last pic). Reg the outfit. I actually like it. Would’ve preferred without that work on the sleeves though.

  4. I am bore of this look……..same kind of clothes, plasticy make-up again and again and again……why does not anybody in her home or friends tell her that she looks horrible in this hair colour…….

  5. Hmm.. nice appearance.

But get mindblown by her costumes in ROBOT. The movie, ROBOT, is not less mindblowing either! It’s the best Indian movie of the decade. Go, figure!

  6. i think her hair color is dulling her skin tone. she’s so naturally gorgeous, but she almost always seems to pull a mere ‘okay’. i am really curious to know what robot is about…

    • I agree. Every recent ash post, i am unhappy with her hair colour. Other than that, i am definitly not bored with her. She can be so refreshing at time (like in the sabya outfit in paris).
Would have liked the outfit without the work on the sleeves.
But man, is the movie good ! Truly the most innovative, creative, imaginative indian film (i like it more in the original tamil version with subtitles) to be out in recent times !

  7. Meh for sure!
That’s the thing about Aishwarya – she looks as good as her stylist is at his/her job – She was totally rocking in that Conde Nast shoot (AWESOME) – and here she is in that same old MM stuff and orange hair which don’t suit her one bit, looking just Okay – below Okay, if I may say (I know i’m going to get blasted for saying that!)

  8. while the hair is atrocious and the dress barely ok aren’t P&P being a wee bit biased here. How come Vidya is branded lovely, ethereal etc while wearing variations of the same sari over and over again while anyone else doing the same is duly reprimanded????

      • its wierd..i feel P&P are partial tp aishwarya. so in general lets say they have their favourites. doesnt work for a fashion blog though. sad..very sad!

  9. The most interesting thing is any post on Ash gets the maximum comments good or bad.The lady definitely garners the most attention and pays the price for her beauty.
She looks fine in this appearance and salwar looks decent. I mean comeon she is just attending a screening and its not even like it was Premier for the movie.Sometimes i feel there is too much pressure on celebs to look amazing all the time.
