We finally found out that not only was Aishwarya wearing a Shahab Durazi gown on day two of IIFA, her black sari and black dress were also Shahab Durazi creations.
We couldn’t find runway pics of the sari or the gown but we did find some variations of the dress she wore to the press conference.

P.S. Why is there a black ribbon on that gown! So unnecessary!

Well, her top is a little different from the one the model is wearing.. I like what the models are wearing, it looks more chic.. Somehow what AB is wearing reminds me of the olden days.. doesnt look nice..
and seriously who designed that outfit for Abhi.. he really looks like a waiter something.. not done.. he can look good..

I think Ash is so beautiful but when it comes to fashion, she often seems to be a step behind. I mean the striped outfit..really?
I agree with Radhika, wish she had incorporated more color. The black and white look on both of them is a bit boring.. Wish at least one of them had incorporated some color. And by that I don’t mean the red trimming/lining/whatever-it-is on Abhishek’s coat.
But of all the looks, I liked the black gown best on her. That whole look of hers suits her than the other two pics.
i think all these stars dont really have time to go and pick outfits. they just trust any designer and tell them to choose on their behalf. oh well… another day..another outfit.. will be forgotten soon…

I get kind of a nautical themed vibe from the striped dress. So in that case, it actually IS trendy since nauticals have been big past couple seasons.
Saya, ur comment on abhi was too funny…but i agree to wat u r saying…i only liked the sari…rest all the dresses are ugly…n aish is looking so ‘behenji’ in them…somebody pls give her some class and a good taste…

i think it’s a case of, she doesn’t know what looks good on her and what doesn’t, so she trusts her designers’ judgement.

She looks just fine in black & white! when she was on her pastel run, everyone was like “oh, she should stop wearing these light colours…” now when she is wearing bright reds or basic B&W, do we have to have a problem with that too???
I would love to see Aish in jeweled colors….blues, emeralds, carmen reds, red and black combos….She tries to pale out her looks with pastels, once in a while that works, but she needs to pop out the drama more! Moh colors, please!

Agree with desibuff…vibrant colours will look really good on her, I think she should do more dramatic colours, not just in outfits but also in makeup

Yup, Ash would look good in Jewel tones… only avoid Yellows of any kind…. will do her little good with those eyes & Skin colur… one only needs to look at her Tirupati Photos post her marriage to see what a spot of jewel tones can do for her…. and she looks Ghastly in the Shahab Durrazi – Old, & Tubby!
