Setting An Example

Now that A.R. has done it, will we see Freida and the others follow his footstep and wear something traditional? We’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed and wait and watch! ;)

Thanks ‘Ashi’ for the news tip-off!

  1. The sherwani looks faulous, great color, just the right amount of detailing and a great fit.
Mr. Rehman is looking quite handsome here.
His contribution has tremendously improved the quality of music in films.
I hope he gets the recognition he deserves!

  2. he looks really dapper in the sherwani! i don’t think a desi man can go wrong in a well cut non-blingy sherwani..hopefully at the oscars the presenters will do their homework and pronounce his name correctly!

  4. Great choice of outfit!
Does anyone realize that out of Dev, Freida, Anil, this guy probably worked the hardest on the movie. The mileage that others have derived from their 2-bit roles is just incredible. I really hope AR wins at the Oscars and BAFTA. He is a true genius!

  6. Yay!!
Doesn’t matter what he wears or how he looks, he is a genius. I do believe the Oscars are over-hyped, but if they stand for the most talented out there, no one deserves it more than Rahman. Salutations!

  7. I love this guy for the very fact that he is down-to-earth, humble, and shy about his amazing talent/work. He does look great but is he wearing some sort of name tag? That tag makes him look like he’s a bellboy at some five star Indian hotel. :/ Minus the tag, he looks awesome.

  8. I used to like the earlier, edgier Rahman with his long hair and all. But wen it comes to him, it’s his genius which is the most beautiful thing. Good luck to him…and i hope dat dis time, they dont call him raman or rooman!!
