I hope Priyanka wasn’t thinking that the only way to change up her same-ole Manish Malhotra sari was to change the way to drape it. We didn’t like it one bit. The drape that is. As for the sari, we’ve just seen to many of them already to appreciate it anymore.

LOVE the sari. LOVE LOVE LOVE. The drape looks a little tacky but I think PC carries it off and takes it from cheap to smoulderingly sexy quite effortlessly
Oh Gooooooooooooooood please somebody tell these starlets to wear saree properly. I really want to scream. This is the culmination of all the boob showing trend and I just cannot take it anymore lol And seriously Priyanka why repeat this saree we have seen already so many times. Love thw Sari.It is one of the Manish Malhotra crrestions that I truely like. Very elegants. Also glad that the blouse looks like a blouse & not a bra. Now after all those positives, why did she have to ruin it with the drape!!!!

I am glad she has gained a little bit of weight. and finally looks healthier than she has in a long time. but not really excited about the drape.
@ chic chick according to Meriem websters dictionary definition of starlet “a young movie actress being coached and publicized for starring roles” So please excuse me if I don’t understand what is that you are asking me? :) I may not be dictionary correct but I meant female stars by that. I wasn’t aware of any negative connotation of this word. If there is please enlighten me. Whether she has a toned body or not I don’t care. I just don’t like ppl draping it that way and this is the worst example of it. Its my opinion just like you have yours.
That is just plain old TACKY. Why dishonor the sari in such a way? If you want to show off your body, then wear some flashy western outfit.
Plus the sari looks like some costume from a film set.

She looks nice but nice in an Ekta Kapoor serial kinda way, not how an A’ list actress should be seen on the green carpet. It’s still nice though – i love the colour of the sari and i don’t mind the drape either…. but piggy chops can do MUCH better!

I like the saree and the blouse, she looks good, but I hate the way the saree is draped, this whole one breast out look kills the elegant look one gets with a saree.
Don’t see why ppl are so rigid about draping. PC looks amazing. That said, yeah, would have been nice to see her in something other than MM…but she’s currently working with him on a film, so she probably didn’t have much choice!!

whatever happened to good old sari drapes. sure she has a perfectly toned body, but does ti have to be displayed aaaaaall the time? the sari can be demurely sexy and smouldering. this drape is just too OTT tacky. Probably would have been better with a normal drape. take a leaf from Sharmila Tagore’s book….

Pavani a starlet is star in the making, that’s what being coached for roles means. A starlet is a of a minor/ future star (according to princeton dictionary). Hence the suffix ‘let’. Needless to say PC is a star NOT a starlet. And I’m sorry if you thought the bit about her being able to drape it however she wants was targeted against what you said. Because it was not, I was just voicing my opinion that a woman who has got it should be able to flaunt it, and not arguing with what you said. Anyway I was just pointing i out, as a die-hard PC fan, that she was a star not a starlet, I was not trying to insult you

I love the sari and the way it has been draped. I don’t understand this bhainjee mentality of how the drape should always cover the boobs. But imo the lip color is too dark, the hairstyle is dated and the blouse is so mallika sherawat.

I’m sad. This honestly… is very bad. At least when Mallika Sherawat wants to show off her cleavage and toned stomach she wears a lengha. Priyanka completely ruined the sari. “She’s toned so why can’t she wear it however she wants” was a question someone asked…
1.) It is not event appropriate to wear a bikini to a red carpet event no matter how toned you are. Therefore, being toned is not an excuse for wearing a sari in this manner.

First of all, the blouse doesn’t match the sari ONE BIT.
Secondly, the HAIR! What’s up with the hair on one side look, they look too stiff and hairsprayed upon.

god .. why do they do this to a sari.. I am 110% sure that if she had draped the saree properly she would have looked beautiful and sexy …but she look strashy here… I just feel like getting into my computer screen and correcting her drape.. that’s how irritated I am looking at this drape!!!
I am forced to comment yet again…coz I was having nightmare all night yesterday as Priyanka’s look kepts flashing in my dream/nmare!!! I cannot seriously beleive she made the saree look so trash, even Nicole of Pussy Cat Dolls wore it better, which is saying a lot!
